Explore pretty Yarmouth or take a stroll along the sea wall and watch the yachts go by. Spend your days doing anything from aqua aerobics to walking along the coast or why not treat yourself to lunch in the Waterfront Coffee Lounge? While you're savouring the light and airy ambience over a latte, the sun will catch the shimmering waters as if to say 'You're on holiday'! If you would rather enjoy a more active visit there is an abundance of activities to keep you on your toes, pitch 'n' putt, a bike ride or enjoy some fun croquet. The free leisure facilities are worth visiting - take a dip in the indoor heated pool, relax in the sauna before a great nights live entertainment. 

Norton Grange is a chalet village with stunning views of the Solent, it is moments from a maritime museum, underwater Archaeology Centre, a Planetarium  and the site was even occupied by the Royal Navy during WWII. Fresh seaside chalets built by Warner provide peaceful spaces to relax in after a night enjoying a range of excellent live entertainment, as well as a wide range of daily activities. Norton Grange’s restaurant, Castaways, has a broad menu including local and seasonal produce.

Nightly entertainment can include dazzling production shows, comedians and bands. Take advantage of the abundance of daily activities, including the leisure club, with an indoor heated pool, Bubble Pool and Sauna.

Itinerary


Day 1 – Journey southwards to the ferry terminal and across to the Isle of Wight. 

Check into mid – late afternoon for 4 nights on half board  basis.


Days 2 – 4 At leisure in Norton Grange with one included excursion and one optional.


INCLUDED EXCURSION


THE NEEDLES at Alum Bay

A tour along the South Coast, calling into Isle of Wight Pearl and on to the Needles at Alum Bay. Needles Park has a chairlift to the beach (ticket price not included), from which you can see the famous coloured sands, Needles rocks and lighthouse. We continue on through Freshwater to Yarmouth with its castle built by King Henry VIII (entrance not included).


OPTIONAL EXCURSION


NEWPORT and GODSHILL

Newport offers lots to see; excellent shopping, ancient inns, the harbour and on the outskirts -  Carisbrook Village. Returning, call into the island’s most picturesque village, Gods Hill, with its thatched cottages and hill-top church - an ideal stop for a cream tea.

Day 5 - After a hearty breakfast, we bid farewell and return to the ferry terminal for the short sailing back to the mainland. Onto interchange to join your onward transport to your home towns



Further Information

Coach seating arrangements

Your seats on the main coach will be allocated for you in advance, taking into consideration any special requests wherever possible. Your Tour Manager or driver will advise you where to sit as you board the coach. This will be your seat for the duration of the tour. (Seats are not allocated on any connecting services to and from the main coach.)

Joining your holiday

Your final travel documents, including the exact time and place of departure, will be sent to you approximately 10 days prior to departure, providing all payments have been made. We are unable to give exact departure times before this.

Meal arrangements

Where meals are not included, your Tour Manager will ensure there are suitable stops made for you to purchase and enjoy lunch each day. 

Special requirements

If you have notified us of any special requirements, please check that they have been noted and acknowledged. This is especially important with any dietary needs you may have.

Disabled access

The majority of our tours involve a certain amount of walking, including a short walk from the coach stop to the town, attraction or venue you're visiting.  If you are bringing a wheelchair, please let us know at the time of booking so that appropriate arrangements can be made.
