Truro & Falmouth
Enjoy a full day tour to the city of Truro and the south coast resort of Falmouth. Few seaside towns in Cornwall boast such an arresting location as Falmouth, overlooking the broad Fal River as it empties into the English Channel. Surrounded by green hills and blue sea, Falmouth is an appealing jumble of lanes, old pubs, slate roofs and trendy cafes. Elegant Truro is Cornwall's only city - a great little city with an impressive Gothic Cathedral which was only completed in 1910, making it the first cathedral built in England since St Paul's. Inside, the vast nave contains some fine Victorian stained glass.
Doc Martin Guided Tour
In the company of a knowledgeable local guide, explore Doc Martin country and filming locations. Head to the pretty fishing village of Port Isaac, known in the popular TV drama as the community of Portwenn which is the backdrop of the majority of the filming locations including Doc Martin’s house and the village surgery. Fern Cottage is one of the most recognisable Doc Martin locations and draws fans from all over the world keen to get a shot of Doctor Ellingham's surgery.
Return Day - It's farewell to Cornwall as you head for home today. Travel back to interchange with suitable refreshment stops en-route to arrive back at your home towns early evening.
