Itinerary
Day 1 Journey northwards with comfort stops en-route towards Bolton for your 3-night stay in the Mercure Bolton Georgian House Hotel. Welcome drink and porterage on arrival.
Day 2 - 3 At leisure in Lancashire with two included excursions.

A warm welcome awaits at the world-famous Bury Market, the undisputed champion of the North, attracting hundreds of visitors every week. Bury Market oozes atmosphere and ambience with a range of products and facilities second to none. Bury Market makes a great trip out and is fully accessible for disabled visitors. Expect great people and great characters and over 200 unique stalls to explore across a Market Hall, Open Market, Fish & Meat Hall and Market Parade. From exotic indulgences to everyday necessities you're sure to find what you are looking for at Bury Market.
Return to the hotel with a stop in the unique waterfront destination of Salford Quays. This impressive, redeveloped docklands waterfront is where you will find MediaCityUK, home to the BBC and ITV. The Lowry Arts Centre with the visually striking exterior is opposite The Quay outlet shopping mall
Southport
Relax and live the beach life in Southport on the Sefton Coast. Boasting an expansive and beautiful coastline, Southport is surrounded by natural beauty. Make a stop en-route at Crosby Beach to view the impressive art installation by Antony Gormley, 'Another Place' where 100 male statues made of iron standing proudly looking out to sea. Onto Southport with Britain's second longest pier, first opened in 1860 with an original length of 3,600 ft. One of Southport's most celebrated sights is Lord Street with its Victorian canopied boulevard edged by scenic gardens. Enjoy the town's scenic parks and gardens, fabulous shopping and a mouth-watering array of restaurants and independent eateries
Day 4 Return southwards to interchange with suitable stops en-route.
Hotel information
This 3* hotel is built around a former Georgian Manor House with landscaped gardens and is conveniently located off the M61.
Modern and spacious bedrooms offer flat-screen TV, WiFi, hair dryer and tea / coffee making facilities.
There is a sports bar and leisure facilities including an indoor swimming pool, sauna, gym and spa bath.
The relaxed brasserie restaurant (accessed by a few steps) serves traditional and international cuisine. There is a lift as well as ground floor rooms.

Coach seating arrangements
Your seats on the main coach will be allocated for you in advance, taking into consideration any special requests wherever possible. Your Tour Manager or driver will advise you where to sit as you board the coach. This will be your seat for the duration of the tour. (Seats are not allocated on any connecting services to and from the main coach.)
Joining your holiday
Your final travel documents, including the exact time and place of departure, will be sent to you approximately 7 days prior to departure, providing all payments have been made. We are unable to give exact departure times before this.
Meal arrangements
Where meals are not included, your Tour Manager will ensure there are suitable stops made for you to purchase and enjoy lunch and/or dinner each day.
Triple rooms
The majority of these consist of a double bed and an extra bed that is often only suitable for children. If this is a concern, you may wish to consider booking more than one room for your group.
Special requirements
If you have notified us of any special requirements, please check that they have been noted and acknowledged. This is especially important with any dietary needs you may have.
Disabled access
The majority of our tours involve a certain amount of walking, including a short walk from the coach stop to the town, attraction or venue you're visiting. If you are bringing a wheelchair, please let us know at the time of booking so that appropriate arrangements can be made.
