INCLUDED EXCURSIONS
Whitby & North York Moors National Park
Your included excursion today takes you across the dramatic North York Moors National Park to Robin Hood's Bay (steep walk to the village centre). Then call at the much loved fishing town of Whitby, dominated by its cliff-top Abbey, with its quaint cobbled streets and picturesque houses standing on the steep slopes of the River Esk. The narrow streets and alleys winding down to the quays of this seafaring town still bustle as they have done for centuries. For the energetic, climb the 199 steps to Whitby Abbey and explore the beautiful ruins which tower over the town. Well known as the home port of the legendary seafarer Captain Cook, it also draws Dracula fans with its many connections to Bram Stoker. Don't forget to sample the world-beating fish and chips, fresh from the harbour
